I have my crafted necklace to 447. But what other piece should i make as a disc priest. Sitting on like 8 shadowflames
I’d craft a 447 weapon.
Spore Cloak is worth it as second embellishment.
Engi b-res bracers if you’re doing M+.
Make a ring.
Rest you can spend on belt/boots.
I wish I had known when I first came back that crafted gear was so relevant, easy to acquire and could include 2 of these interesting embellishments.
It’s nice to see crafting getting more and more love this expac. I’d kind of noped out early refusing to learn anything about the new systems but it’s really grown on me.

Early on in the season I think it made sense to go with a 1H (Primal Molten Spellblade) because we were limited by Sparks but at this point you can probably do the 2H Staff instead, if I remember correctly it takes 2 Sparks but only 1 Enchanted Crest so you’ll save some money and crests by going that route over crafting a 1H and then an off-hand.
Unless you would want to craft the Sporkeeper’s batoon which is a 1H but that one counts as an Embelishment and you can only have 2 (and you always want Spore Cloak).
But as for Embelishments in general:
Your No1 should always be Spore Cloak. And the second one can vary I usually swap between the Sporekeeper’s batoon or the Allied Wrisguards of Time Dilation… I originally had Healing Darts on my 1H but ended up removing it since I found it very underwhelming.
The issue I got with crafted gear is I have to make two separate sets for M+ and raid. Raid obviously gets the priority on stats so its usually not until 2 months in I can start making M+ stuff.

This has also been a struggle for me as well. I am getting to the point now where I can finally start crafting mythic+ gear but I haven’t pushed my score in over a month
Helps that you can just run a 16 for vault to give you mythic track 447 gear now. 
I am not part of a mythic raiding guild so I usually favor dungeon upgrades over raid upgrades, depending on what they are, because I try to push keys the first few weeks of the season in order to get into groups. By the time we are at aotc level I have ran enough dungeons to buff both sets a decent amount.
