At minimum, crafted weapons should change their main stat with your spec. Crafted weapons are the go-to first craft for the majority of the playerbase due to the immediate power boost they offer, however classes like Druid and Monk are hamstrung by this requirement, with the Agi and Int staves being different crafted pieces, effectively locking you out of playing off-specs optimally until at least your 5th spark (week 9).
However it would be excellent if ALL crafted gear could change secondaries with your spec, too. Even if this required using multiple missives (with only one adding craft difficulty) per craft, to select the secondaries for each spec, such that you didn’t have to recraft gear each time you wanted to play your offspec optimally. You would still recraft gear to change the stats for any given spec, and for adding Crests ect. I think it would be a massive improvement to quality of life, while also increasing the demand for missives.

Nah, people should be made to get different weapons when they want to switch specs/roles
I am in no way biased in this discussion just because both my roles use the strength and a 2h

One of the main reasons why I could never play shaman is because blizz simply refuses to give all agi trinkets, int and visa versa. If you think I’m gonna cart around 4 trinkets, then I got a bridge to sell you.
slowly looks at the 6 trinkets i carry around
Haha, yea me too

Crafting gear is so easy, you just throwing gold at, why would it be any different than other gear
Did you read any of the post? You can’t recraft agi to intellect so those classes are immediately down two sparks.
You should be able to craft gear that isn’t level 80 also.
Crafted gear is already bordering on being too powerful for what’s required. It doesn’t need more QOL changes.
Just want to bump this in agreement. I’d rather not have to craft another 1h to play both Holy and Prot. It’s pretty silly, imo. This would be a great QoL change.
