I can’t believe this… I have spent HOURS and around 100k gold in mats… Hours spent crafting tidespray linen bracers and scrapping them… collecting over 600 expulsom. I crafted 13 Cragscale pants… 0 of them were harmonious or aurora. THIS IS BULL CRAP. I swear I have never been more tilted about WoW… This is BAD for shadowlands. DO NOT CONTINUE THIS BULLSH*T.

Thats why i went with the engineering helm , no random BS . I’m sorry you were unlucky but thats on you , it is random , just like a coin flip that lands on tails 50 times in a row, sucks but still just random

I just made a 14th… quickblade again. The chance of me crafting 14 pieces in a row with none of them being harmonious or aurora is .77%. I’m putting in a ticket for this. There is no more effing cragscale left on my server.

Crafted gear is supposed to be a side upgrade. Fishing for your preferred secondary stats is asinine at best.

Luckily for you you can use gems in Shadowlands to select attributes on crafts.

Hopefully. I did say hopefully. Blizzard fixes much of the crafting issues when we get the level squish.
Meh not that bad , in other mmorpg where crafting has a success rate , you could have crafted 14 and none would have succeeded . at least in wow you got 14 of them for crafting 14
When I crafted some tailoring pants I made 1 and it had crappy stats so made another and it was the exact same pants. Scrapped one just in case it turned out even crappier and made another and it was the exact same pants again!
So I scrapped both and made a new one which was a diff stat pants and made another and it was the same exact stat pants again… Bliz RNG for you. Oh you got pants and you want to craft new ones well here ya go and get the same pants! 
I gave up crafting a long time ago. Now I just sell mats to people that still haven’t realized how bad crafting is.

I mean, it’s your fault for spending 100k in materials for pants when you don’t clear Heroic, don’t do M+ and likely do a single Arena win per week to get your 465 piece. Don’t complain about being able to easily buy gear that is going to go to waste on your character anyway.
Crafting is, unfortunately, just not a very handy way to gear up unless you’re just coming into 120. Profession wise, Cooking and Alchemy is where it’s at, with Engineering if you’re going for World PvP due to the many gadgets having many utility applications.
Hopefully Shadowlands will make crafting more relevant, because few things are as neat as using equipment that you, yourself made!
yea pretty much crafted gear sucks.
Some professions like Inscription are still stuck at ilvl 400 or something like that.
Took a look at the mats and the items that will be made n decided to sell off the mats instead.

Got 50/50 Aurora pants on 19th try. Thank god… now I can try to get the boots 19 times. I am one of the 3% of people who face this issue.
Crafting in this expansion was horrifically bad. I maxed alchemy on my main, but on my alts I just gave up on the other professions. Trying to get boatloads of expulsom was a terrible idea. By the time you get all that you need to level up your crafting profession, you’ve already got better gear. Utterly pointless.
“Pushing 2s” Come on now. I don’t know who you’re kidding. You’ve never even hit 2k in 2s. Yes, this alt is wearing Benthic gear but that’s because it is an alt on a faction that I very rarely play. I’m sorry you struggle with the basics because your buyable armor is a bit random. Not really my problem though, now is it? You don’t need the 2 470 pieces to hit 2k, 2.2k or higher. You are using it as an excuse, lol.
And even then, it’s not a good way to do even that. World Quests and Benthic pretty much made crafting pointless.

Random secondaries on crafted gear is stupid.
Fixed stats, at least I know whether or not to bother making them.
