Can they get rid of this, the legendary itself was not crafted by the person who made the BASE item, they didn’t do torghast for the soul ash, they didn’t get their own missives, I did all that. This really makes me not want to equip the legendary because I have mental problems with it. Please please take it away :slight_smile:

And? At what point did I mention the real world, WoW is a game, I don’t like that ugly a** text on the gear because it’s very out of place.

i’m amazed the upgrade isn’t considered a different item, thus removing the tag.

i saw a thread where someone had an issue with the “crafted by” tag being racist.
if blizzard are going to have to manually remove tags because people can’t help themselves from being jerks, it’s probably best that the display is removed altogether.

OP, you shouldn’t have to do this but if it’s absolutely necessary and you can’t get a support ticket to help you,

Server transferring kills all “made by” tags on your gear. Found that out on some very old characters with good memories the hard way.

I feel similarly about bags after I had four made by “Moobsweat” for the longest time. Now I have a tailor on each server I’m on.

I think if you change servers it will disappear, like on bags.

Yeah it was up on the CS forums less than a day ago, I think it’s still there. I didn’t understand what he was talking about actually until this thread, sucks people have to ruin something fun. Personally I feel accomplished (at least in classic) to see people using my stuff I’ve crafted for em.

But retail has so many zoning probably 1% chance I’d see someone rocking my name haha.
