Not sure if I’m in the right place to post this, but I think a killer feature would be for crafters to be able to make things like flasks, food, etc straight out of the guild bank so you can keep your personal stash separate more easily. Just put an option on the crafting interface to select which inventory you’re pulling from when you make stuff. Thoughts?
I think the problem with using your guild’s guild bank automatically is that it makes it even easier for people to use guild resources for non-guild uses, say to craft things that you sell yourself. Keeping track on how much you can pull from the guild bank like that could be complicated to track and control, especially with how guild bank permissions now work with the community feature implementation and changes to guild controls with BfA.
What i would like to see implemented instead is that each account should have a personal guild bank, perhaps separated by faction and server, but one where all your toons in one faction on one server/merged servers can use the contents of your personal guild bank like you use each toon’s personal bank. No need to pull stuff out manually.
It could have the option, like you suggest, of picking which to pull from, or it could pull from one or the other first by default. Or perhaps like your bags and whether to organize them or not, you can specify if the account guild bank is to be used first or second or not at all.
As it is, I have most of my alts in each faction on each server parked in my private bank guilds so that they can immediately access mats by removing them diretly for crafting instead of having to pull them with my bankers from a personal bank guild like I have to do with my mains/frequently played alts when needing to use my own stuff from my own personal banker’s guild.

I would love to see this, as a settable option by the GM.
The answer to this is pretty much always the GM keeping better control over the gbank permissions.
People can’t misuse the gbank if they don’t have access to the gbank.
Blizz took away permissions for guild settings. I highly doubt they’d implement a permission for this that made sense.
If people want to craft from guild bank mats, then remove the guild bank mats first. You can do this before going into a raid. With how large our bags are now, you have room for three or four stacks of herbs or meats.
Oh ye gods I can already imagine how much people would abuse this if they get half a chance or even accidentally use too much of something.
Well the caveat being that anything crafted with guild bank materials was deposited directly into the guild bank, and then withdrawl limits would apply as they do today (with crafting materials used in this process obviously not counting against it). Each guild could assign a specific crafter for each profession that could use this permission so the wrong stuff wasn’t randomly made.
