Can anyone recommend an add-on that works with/or like Auctionator; that uses an AH scan to determine prices of mats and calculate costs to craft something?
Like say I wanted to make a potion of phantom fire. I could look up that potion in the AH, and it would tell me the price total to craft it. It would total the cost based on the AH prices for each herb required to make the potion. Say in the tool-tips. If I recall, back before my hiatus, there was such a beast 10+ years ago.
Or possibly a shown tooltip for craft price in said crafting windows, clicking/hovering over the item to be crafted?

try TradeSkillMaster, it works in classic and might work in retail and has some breaking down. I didnt look a ton at it but it certainly has a crafting window.

Ty! - I’ll check that out
Will also take any other suggestions given
Tradeskillmaster is exactly what you are looking for. Works pretty good right out of the box, but can get super good if you set it up right. Lots of youtube videos on how to set up stuff. It can be as easy or as complicated as you want. If it does not Do what you want with just the download, watch some videos and take it as far as you want
Yea this looks like it will take some time to setup and learn lol
They need to offer a Coursera course on how to use TSM.

Just watch some YouTube videos, they are ez to follow if you take it in steps. I only use basic functions of it and it is very useful. If I were to go in depth with it there is alot it can do
Yeah, Auctionator does that. Open the AH, then open your Profession (make sure both AH and Profession window are open). Current cost to craft is right there in the recipe and also updates with each scan.
Can’t. At least not the way I have it set currently with WoW’s UI controlling crafting window. When you open profession, it shuts the AH.
