Played since early access. Leveled one of EVERY class to 80. Why would they nerf the drop rates on something like this to almost NEVER getting any? I have 5 shards from this whole time so far. Siesbarg was an easier grind to do. This is abysmal. Blizzard needs to UN nerf the drop rates on these shards to make it a viable farm. There are so many who have this same issue. If you have the mount? The RNG gods LOVE you for some reason LOL. Seriously Blizzard. Adjust the drop rates on these things.
I mean, it’s one mount.
If you want it, put in the grind. If the grind is too much, don’t get it and use one of the other 900.
Seems simple.
I know its one mount. You don’t have to bring your passive aggressive crap to the post.
Im up to four without doing anything special. On pace to doing about one per expansion.
I assume this was about expected. Maybe I’m normal.
Yea. They can drop at random just from questing. There were hyperspawn points at first that were great to farm… but Blizz nerfed the spawns. That hurt both the Shard farm and the Siesbarg farm.
I got four of them quite quickly while working on the bee mount then nothing for 5000 kills. At this point it’s something I’ll work on here and there but won’t activly grind now unless I’m on my final one or two.
It took me about three hours of farming elites to get all the shards, which is acceptable for a mount drop.
I call bull on that.
A sock puppet and onery. MMO’s are grinds. You would know that if you have “played since early access”
Did you like your own post?
ROFL. I’ve played since 2004. Again. Go away with your passive aggressive crap. And if I did it was by mistake. Why do people like you find it necessary to come on here to be a passive aggressive twit towards others directly? I guess you have nothing more of a life than to do that. Oh well. You have my sympathy for such a sad life.
The grind for shards did legit suck. At times I was 400 kills between a drop, other times I went well over 3k kills on the last few.
I doubt it had much to do with it, but I ended up farming a couple of rares on different characters and they each seemed to get 1 or 2 fairly quickly, then nothing.
An odd thing though, is after getting the mount I had another shard drop on one of my more fresh level 80s. As far as I know you can’t sell the mount, unless maybe you can trade in a group, then I wouldn’t understand why they would drop after getting it.
At this point I’m not sure you know what passive aggression is.
Statistically unlikely but entirely possible I suppose. Can’t say I believe this though.
i posted this a while back. it was post-drop rate nerf.
TL;DR: the shipbuilders cave at 64, 20 is the place to go.
it will take a couple of hours
No, people were able to do that early on at the beginning of the expansion. It was hotfixed numerous times and now it’s just extreme low RNG with no hyperspawn points left and rarely any groups to farm the elites with.
If it was before the hotfixes then yeah, I could totally see it. If not…well, I’m with Artemis on that one.
When the elite farming was popular in groups, it could be done if you got really lucky after some of the changes. But that’s an outlier for sure.
Yeah. Like I said, it’s statistically unlikely but not impossible.
Oh, I know what it is. That would be YOU. I make a post directed towards Blizzard, and you decide to come onto said post and be a passive aggressive douchebag towards with your post. I suppose people like you have nothing better to do though. The general consensus seems to agree with me, that the drop rate sucks on these and needs to be revamped. But, you go on with your sense of self entitlement to try and belittle others based on their opinions towards an entity and not towards individuals. But, I’d guess that’s your way of deriving enjoyment out of your probably miserable life. Now, you have a nice day, which I probably consider to be a hard thing for you to do unless you find someone else who gives a CRAP about what you think about them. LOL. You’re sad
