My shaman (Zagara) under my account got a trouble to log in.
the screen got cracked and disconnection occurs right after.
I tried a few times but it keeps happening.

We were… starting on this over in CS, but here we are in Tech, so here I go.
We need to figure out what you mean by “cracked.” Cracked means that it’s physically broken. Since logging into WoW cannot crack your screen, we must be having a communication breakdown in some sense.
Do you mean that your screen is physically broken, like something smashed into your monitor and broke it?
I really don’t think that’s it, though. Are you getting an error message?

OK, I see. Thanks! Just some suggestions:
- Perform a full UI reset.
- Disable any addon managers you might have, like Curse.
- Reboot your machine.
- Do a Scan and Repair

No, I know of Pawgwalker from these forums, but I have no idea who that person is in real life. What would make you think I am their brother, and what does that have to do with anything at all? LOL.

So, pray tell, what motivated you this morning to come into a thread I was posting in, helping out another player, just to tell me you think I am the brother of someone you obviously have issues getting along with? Just to put down Pawg and make yourself feel better? Just to please yourself because you can patronize some random person on video game forums?

I’d thank you to leave me out of your playground games in the future; I have no interest in how smart or cool you are, or how stupid you think I am. I come here to help others, not to make some kind of a kingpin rep for myself; you can have that. You wanna do the har-de-har, let’s laugh at the other human thing, do it elsewhere.
Better yet, figure out why you want to do it in the first place. Probably beyond your capabilities.
And you still don’t understand triage, if the things Pawg and I suggest bend you out of shape. These are the front lines, not some tier 3, 2-hour-call, in-depth fix. Virtually every complaint is going to get the same UI reset, scan and repair, triage suggestions.

I’m not entirely sure what you mean by a cracked screen, but have you given the stuck character service a try?

You need to edit this post and use the drop down to re-route it to the tech support forum.
However, as there is physical damage to your machine, my assumption would be that the screen crack is not the only damage done.

I tend to think things are getting lost in translation. Not that their actual screen cracked, but that they got some error message.

I am similarly unaware of any devices with a touch screen that WoW is supported on. I suppose recent, high-end laptops that cost thousands of dollars, but I don’t see that having an effect on game software.

No, it’s not supported on touch screens but many laptops have components pretty tightly packed and damage to one component can easily spill over to additional components.

This sounds like your Shaman is stuck and needs to be moved. We recommend putting in a ticket if the toon is still broken. Ticket
Make sure you provide the name/server of the toon having the issue.
