Anyone familiar with this helmet?
I don’t think I “mained” my shaman when emerald dream released, but was able to determine with the quest completed macro that the emerald dream quests show “true” (it might have been with the item that alts got for auto completion).
That said I went to emerald dream, made sure to click the portal rather than just fly (if that makes a difference?) and the statue is not there and neither is the helmet. I do not have the xmog it shows gray.
Any tips?
Have you done the quest to unlock the Emerald Dream? that might be an issue you might have to do quest to unlock the vendor that has it.
I couldn’t remember, so I used the macro where you add the quest ID and it returns “true” or “false”. It is returning “true” for completed. That said, it might have come from the item that you were given on alts after your main completed it. I tried to go back and find the beginning of the quest chain to no avail. I then went back and tried to find the first quest in the chain before that chain and also no avail.
So I think the answer to your question is “yes” (sorta?). I would happily redo them if i could but they are not available.
So if the statue isn’t there then you are missing something. At this point I would page a gm and ask. There might be a quest that you missed or isn’t unlocked yet.

I tried to put a support ticket in and it says they do not help with quest and achievement issues.
Is this available only in game?
No Support ticket is how its done. I am sorry I don’t know I have a feeling its just a quest or something missed. but I am not sure I can’t remember
You’re most likely right, or they haven’t found out that clicking the item for auto-completion doesn’t provide access to the statue. Hopefully it’s just a missing quest.
I would dig into wowhead. thats what I do find the item and look at the comments sometimes they help solve issues like this.
There is something else you might do. Which wont feel as rewarding but that would be to lvl another char or take another char to an unlocked Emerald Dream and get the Cowl
Can you get the cowl on a non-shaman/orc? My druid was my main throughout most of dragonflight and he for sure did the quests.

and you don’t click the statue it is the helm on a small stick just infront of the statue
I’ll have to check when I’m home, I 100% checked that I did the first 4-5 quests of the emerald dream quest line which returned “true”.
Helm/statue are both missing from the cave.
I honestly think it might be an issue of alts getting the quest chain auto-completed and it not registering properly for this item?
Issue is because they are auto-completed i cannot complete them now.
So you might be on to something regarding using another char. I have a 2nd shaman I can try it on tonight.
I do think you have to be orc or mag’har orc to get the Cowl. I just checked and got it on my shaman from what I have looked into it says you must finish the quest Call of the Dream so you might want to turn on low level quest to see if its hidden because its a low level quest. Or you could start a mag’har shaman and choose dragon flight to unlock the emerald dream and do the Call of the dream quest.
Yeah gonna try and use my 2nd shaman tonight who is a mag’har hopefully he never used the item to auto complete quests and I can simply pick them up and knock them out rq!
I don’t see you mention it specifically, but have you tried getting the Goldrinn buff and then going to there?
Not sure what that is but, I managed to complete it problem free by logging on my level 70 ult shaman and following the steps on a char that had never visited dragonflight “emerald dream” content.
Nice Congratz, I will say if you hadn’t brought it up I wouldn’t have known about it. I was able to go get it.
