Covenants - They aren't working

Pve is incredibly easy, so just pick the covenant that is best suited for pvp.

Amen.

Faeline Stomp is the bomb.

Comon, this argument again !!! This has become a meme now.

The point is many specs don’t have to make a choice here as their covenant is best for both.

I hate my cov but i had to choose it cus’ performance. And yes, its more than a couple %

I hope I’m completely wrong in my complaints. I hope that covenants literally don’t matter at all.

However that’s just not what I’m seeing. It’s not what beta indicated, it’s not what these last couple weeks have indicated, and it’s not what sims indicate.

My prediction, as I’ve stated many times, is that people are going to get frustrated when they are excluded from M+, Raid, or PvP because they have the wrong covenant. They are going to get frustrated when they realize swapping covenants is a pain. They are going to get even more frustrated when covenants get tuned and they have to swap back to a covenant and it takes them forever. Finally they are going to get frustrated when they go to form a group and all they can find are necrolord demon hunters, venthyr monks, and venthyr warlocks.

Then play the one you like and take the lesser dps. You’re clearly not a hardcore got to be get that mythic raiding in asap if you were you wouldn’t care about it or what your character looked like ect…

You’ll still be more then good enough for any casual playing with the one you like.

The difference between them is huge. If it were just a little, like 1-3%, then it would be no problem. But it’s not. If the gap was closed just a bit, I think players would be less concerned. The disparity is large enough that even casual players are affected.

The big problem as well is that it’s going to become obvious what specs should take what covenants. So when players are building groups for specific dungeons, they’ll automatically think I need class/spec X to fill this role.
