Covenants are easily switchable. It's only challenging to get back into one

I’m actually really liking the way SL seems to be coming together. I like the Covenant system, it sounds nice.

Those who want to do Everything with just 1 character will have a bit of a problem. But, it’s do-able, just difficult. Those who like alts are going to be super happy here. lol

Those who like the idea of being loyal to a specific way of play, to a specific group have that chance.

It’s a bit of a different play style for Blizz and I like that. Not just the same thing over and over. It’s a little bit similar to a few other games, but retaining it’s own individuality, and I really like the concept.

I also like the way (so far) that it’s being handled.

There are players that will always dislike whatever it is… Some just because they have no intention of liking anything Blizz does. Some because it doesn’t fit their established play style and they don’t want to change. Some just because it’s different and they want the same thing so they can complain about the game being boring with the same thing all the time! lol

And there are lots of other reasons I’m sure. I’m just joking about the fussing I see on the forums.

But for me honestly, it sounds extremely intriguing and interesting! And… I’m getting excited.

Maybe we’ll have another You are now hated with Cenarion Circle moment, a la Druids in Legion.

Ian? More relaxed? No beads of sweat rolling off his head when he speaks?

It actually seems so :stuck_out_tongue:

This is just awful as before. Switched covenants because you wanted to do some PvP but now you wanna go back to M+? Yeah, too bad.

Well I doubt there are that many players that need to be THAT optimal in EVERY aspect of the game. Sure there are a few, but I’m sure every person individually has a major content point they focus on, PvP, M+, Raiding. SO you would mainly choose the Covenant for your playstyle and such, and then you have soul binds that you can tailor to different forms of content depending on the content you wan to run. I think the point is that you shouldn’t be able to be godlike in everything, as choosing a covenant SHOULD have pros and cons for each and every spec, but you aren’t going to be absolute trash when it comes to another aspect, you just won’t be as proficient as someone in another covenant for those scenarios.
And that’s ok. You’ll still be able to compete, you won’t suddenly lose 80% DPS just because of one ability you have differently from another person of the same class and spec. Especially since soulbinds are a thing that provides even more customization options to tailor for your chosen style of gameplay.
