Talent trees are not choice not unless you provide PoE levels of skill tree depth. Stop trying to make vanilla-cata appear as valid points. That what came first does not mean it was good, as much as that what exists now is not always an improvement over what existed (if you strive for improvement).
And if you actually played WoW outside of standing on a mailbox in Goldshire, you’d know that people engage in multiple roles and activities every week, and that weekly switching of covenants is massively restricted.
Ok so both are features that streamers and youtubers completely obsessed over, creating inexistente problems for players to get mad about and making them play the game trying to find reasons to be upset. Yeah they are very similar in this aspect indeed. They will probably also be systems that get slightly tweeked in a few patches and people forget about them pretending they were “fixed” when there was nothing to fix in the first place.
You can reach relative diminishing returns 15 points into pre-7.2 paragon. Or you could have finished it in December or when most people were progressing on nighthold, and then dump your extra AP into your artifact throughout that tier while we had AK25 in effect.
I didn’t say that vanilla-cata is better. In fact, if I had a choice, I’d go with something like PoE (which I’m currently playingo n my other screen lol)
What I said is that Blizzard’s current talent trees have a bunch of dead rows.
You continually skip soulbinds which can be changed at any time to help your other specs. The covenant abilities aren’t even spec related but sure… I just see it differently.
Enjoy the game. I mean you’re paying for it either with dollars or time collecting gold.
Initially it sucked, it wasn’t until they moved on to essences that they acknowledged they couldn’t balance it then they trended toward just giving us our bis.
