You’ll still have your NF powers until the swap is complete. It may not be completely optimal but it certainly isn’t “dead in the water with no powers…” You’re overreacting.

Covenant should be cosmetic only, not tied to player power at all.
That’s the fundamental problem.
Renown “catch-up” (Hardly) is a joke, since its RNG/Lotto if you get anything from WQs/Dungeons/Raid/Pvp after you’ve done all quests you are able to do.

Why doesn’t blizz understand this by now? Players will spend hours and hours transmog hunting and mount farming. I mean come on, just look at the Mage Tower, cosmetics only but man was it popular. Players will run the same dungeon hundreds of times trying to get that one drop they want for transmog or that one mount that eludes them.
Borrowed power is a problem, it will always be a problem, it needs to die in fire. Just give us transmogs, pets, and mounts and we’ll be lining up!
This is why I just went with a zone I enjoyed the most. I hate fairy land so I rolled with the death people. I think for the 90% of the people that play this game, the amount the covenant has an effect is minimal at best.

That’s what happens when you play Fotm . Funny thing is you don’t when they nerf or buff and by how much . So by the time you settle down. You have to move again.

A lot of people here are extremely in denial.
Druid: Night Fae is easy 4k+ dps increase from 1 button alone, and then their follower Niya is also a massive boost.
You guys might just not care that you’re actually standing out like a sore thumb on the DPS list amongst others of same class but who chose the “Right” covenant, but I would argue MAJORITY of people do care who actually DO the content.
If you just lol around doing WQs then whatever?
It still has an impact tho cause it can mean the difference between doing them solo, or not – or doing them in 2min vs 10min.
You value your time and your effort differently than us, but stop claiming it’s “Overreacting” or “Not true” because YOU do not care about what you bring to anything remotely connected to end game group content.
