Unfortunately, right now, if you switch covenants, you can’t use the xmogs from your previous covenant.
I do get what you’re saying though.
Not to mention missing the fact the set he wants for his Paladin is on a Covenant that’s actually good for his Paladin.
No, all these problems could be solved by not having a power component to covenants, which means people could pick based on the mog they want.
I can agree with that. No player power tied to covenants would solve the problem. However, I don’t think blizz would ever go for that. They love these borrowed power systems.
Well they won’t do “Mog other covenant’s stuff” either.
That leaves OP with a choice : going Kyrian on his Paladin, which is a good choice for Paladins anyhow.
yeah it’d be pretty neat to have the Venthyr 2 handed sword + the dark Kyrian wings.
There’s a dark Kyrian sword.
Yep, never said there wasn’t
Just commenting that the combination of the much cooler looking (imo) venthyr sword and the wings would be neat. Doesn’t matter anyway since the back mogs remove sheathed 2 handers
Yes it does. Because they dont care about that, they however clearly say constantly they care about their vision and their duty.
Makes no sense using venthyr armor in a kyrian palace.
no it doesn’t. based on the laws of physics youd get instantly killed if it so much as flicked you
so no, it makes less sense taking on giant dragon. if you’re going to swear loyalty to me, and do daily chores, even kill others and bring in anima I don’t give a rat’s áss if you’re wearing some wings from another covenant.
lol ya okay that’s why they rehash mission tables, borrowed power and so many other aspects yet somehow make them worse every time
No fun allow
In the fantasy seeting of the convenants. It does.
I mean surely you understand that just because it is a fantsay setting a character or said created community still have hopes, wishes and expectations.
I dunno why you want to pretend you didnt understand, that isnt a strong argument at all. In fact it works against you. Just so you know there is prolly not gear or convenants after your irl death too, so you made all your complains useless lol.
You can befriend and even tame dragons in the game, it do makes sense for the fantasy setting actually. You literally save them more than one time lol.
It doesnt make sense to horde change all its banners to alliance banners in orgrimmar, nor have night elves living there for instance. Which is the equivalent of the venthyr living with kyrian.
It is pretty explicity if you read the quest. Just so you know lorewise mission tables and borrowed power doesnt exist.
I know you want to argue for the sake of it due you know, what you said, but if thats your best effort i do feel pity. Better luck next time.
same as wearing whatever I want in my covenant
I can also wear whatever I want in combat so around npcs should be the same
likewise! Your own points work against you
try again
False. None of the covenants hate each other. They’re all on the same side.
Arbitrary and ridiculous restriction.
Venthyr and Kyrian clearly stated they aren’t very respectable of each one ways, same for maldraxus and ardenwald.
Yet they are all in the same afterlife suffering from the same drought. They are not enemies.
Ya, Except other convenants gear.
This doesnt mean they are friendly to each other or approve each other.
Why do you argue against options?
“Because it’s the one thing you CAN’T replace…”
I feel like the transmog restrictions should be lifted at the end of the expansion.
Pardon me, but I am arguing in favor of them. No restrictions tend to leave everything more homogenized. Soo far its simple an aestethic perk yet I could argue why my warrior cant become a mage or why i can’t have orc racial or why i can’t use horde HW gear on my alliance char and so on to make everything as homogenized as possible.
I think its bad specially when the goal is making a choice being impactful, which by definition always means it won’t be convenient.
