I’m fine with the commitment; actually I prefer it. I don’t want covenants to be a thing that we’re supposed to swap at-will to suit this boss, that dungeon, or the enemy arena comp. That’s what talents are for.
That said, it doesn’t feel great having to compromise aesthetic/theme for the gameplay implications and vise versa but to extent, the same is true of your class and race. I love the theme of druid and warlock but I don’t enjoy their playstyles so I don’t play either one.
Exactly. For example, if you call someone a shill, I’m going to assume that your argument is baseless and unoriginal, and you’re most likely doing it to get a rise out of someone.
Well since the majority of the people are going to agree with that train of thought, I don’t really care what you or blizzard think about my post. Good day sir.
Don’t blame players for minmaxing in a game that so readily rewards minmaxing.
In EVERY interaction, whether it’s working to down a mythic boss or doing world quests, the game rewards players for having the most optimal gear and abilities to either improve your chances of success or just get through it faster.
And even the most casual raiders benefit from this minmaxing: if a group is having a hard time with a normal raid tier, one of their tanks having an extra CD will be just as beneficial to their group as it would be for another group working through the same raid on mythic.
Again, the game rewards and encourages minmaxing at all levels of play for a whole slew of reasons. Blame the game, not the player.
I made a a few hundred thousand gold selling mats , I am sure there are desperate pretenders that are gonna still play M+ , pvp and Raid competitively. It ain’t going RIP anytime soon mate.
Are you seriously blasted because you want to min-max AND play dress up?
Last I checked, min-max players don’t care what they look like or what they even play. If you’re not on that level then why care? You won’t be subpar and completely inferior in all things.
so choose the covenant based on the content you enjoy the most, or do the most. Any player can/will overcome a covenant choice. Anyone who doesn’t is just blaming their own failures.
