I mean, we knew what system was going to be. Yet, you still spend money on a game and still want to cry about it. You are part of the problem.

Just hybrids? What about RP? Sure I could play Venthyr as Vengeance, but I would be massively gimped because 1. Not as much damage overall, especially since they nerfed it hard recently 2. Not as much AoE, maybe single target is SLIGHTLY better but I think that much burst crit from Decree on a 36s cooldown in world pvp is pretty ****ing hard to top… 3. The speed reduction doesn’t affect ranged attacks so hunters laught that off, as do ranged dps physical mobs…

As a hunter i’m pigeon holed into night fae to be competitive. I hate everything about the night fae so now I risk just being a mediocre player. I hate the covenant system so much.
With all the Infinity War / Endgame references we are seeing this expansion, I’m sure the Jailer will get those medallions somehow, or at least try to… literally some of the only three reasons I’m sticking around and haven’t unsubbed yet are 1. Torghast; 2. Building my guild(s); 3. Watching how this expansion’s storyline is gonna end…

Imagine trying to stop min-maxing in a game that’s basically a glorified excel spreadsheet.
The players made it that way. Now, Blizzard did not help with it for sure, but now Blizzard is going back to the roots. The rpg, and if players want to punish each other for not min/maxing. That is on them.

Are you kidding? Ion’s guild is literally the one that did the min-maxing back in the day (and they still do I think).
You mean that amount both sides wanted it to be within but now isn’t good enough for the wannabe top 1% players who roll fotm?
Being within 5% is pretty dang good and unless your rolling world firsts or server firsts or hard core mythic progression 5% isn’t going to be game breaking especially for casual mythics and raiding.

That does not matter, Wow is a business first.
The players are the problem here, We pretty much made it so easy to do pick up groups with such a high success. That players feel the need to progress to the point that the community feels the need to compete with each other.
That is the flaw of group finder and the tools that made for it, and now players feel that they must pick a choice they don’t want so they can compete with other players in pick up groups. Boring
Except it’s 5% across the spec. It doesn’t take into account multiple specs/roles, multiple game modes, and so on. As I stated, that 5% becomes a lot more huge and troublingly so once you go beyond just the individual spec.

WM talents… legendary powers… conduits… yes, by themselves, the covenant abilities are MAYBE 5%-ish across ONE spec… there is so much the devs DIDN’T seem to take into account now that it has gone from paper > alpha > beta > launch a.k.a. practice…
I honestly believe Alpha and Beta was their chance to fix this. Anything they say now is the same lip service we’ve gotten in both Legion and BFA.
