My hunter has 80 renown with Night Fae. Switched my DK from Necro Lord to NF but it is making me do all these quests. I thought if I had 80 renown on a covenant on my account the swap would be immediate and I just have to talk to NPC to get the conduits?

Trying to mess around with builds and covenants before SL is over.
Renown is stuck to a covenant you got it to. It doesn’t translate at all to the next covenant you switched to, Including quests and any progression as it is meant to be completed again, you can buy renown near the Oribos Flight Vendor to get up to 60 renown and grind the last 20 through basically anything else. The Conduits however at least are kept at the level that you got them to, just need to do the soulbind quests to unlock the soulbinds to start socketing them in.
You can immediately get 60 renown by buying the item on the vendor next to the flight master in Oribos.
