Covenant spell animations fixed

So…

10.2.5 is fixing covenant spell animations like spear of bastion, and shifting power.

Which is a huge win, it to me breaks class identity like spear of bastion for warrior when its animation looks like a paladin or shifting power for a fire mage which looks like a druid casting it.

See i hard disagree that this is a fix, personally i loved the covenant abilities. They felt unique with really great animations for some, like spear of bastion or the demon hunter sigil.

I watched the animations on WoWhead and some of them just loose their epic feel entirely. Like death chakram is just boring now, so is sepsis, and the mage ones. Granted thats my opinion, if you like em i am happy for you.

I really hope blizzard adds in glyphs to make them based off the covenant again. They have been doing so good lately at not removing things and giving options, hope they do that for this too.

I’m still unhappy that faeline stomp is still part of my single target rotation at all…fixing the colors isn’t going to help.

Where do you see this? Did they give any examples of what they would look like?

Its on wowhead with like 8 sample animations. Most of the ones they show now look generic and kinda boring to me personally.

Agreed. I hope they leave Slappy Hands alone but I have a sneaking suspicion they won’t.

I think, and this speculation, if it fits the class they arent changing it. Because the slappy hand actually looks “death knighty”, then again convoke spirits looked druidy and their changing it so :dracthyr_shrug:

I hope they do glyphs to bring back the covenant versions.
