Just take up useless engineering this xpac. You will make almost zero gold off your profession, but you get a wormhole on a different CD from your hearthstone. I almost never need to use the flight path to or from Oribos!

Why are there always dumb responses like this? Look, I like the game, hence why I have poured a lot of time into it. What I like doing in the game is playing, not sitting on a flight path

I can’t believe people are complaining about travel in this game. Who TF Cares if you have to sit on a FP for a minute…

-5 Minute HS Enchant for Bracers (Carry a Pair with this on it) So you have a 10 Minute HS CD in Guild.
-Dalaran HS which is on a 10 minute CD which gives you access to Main City/Portal Room as well
I sit on a FP for a minute or so every blue moon. It’s hardly impactful to my gameplay. Depending on when you started playing WoW… Travel in Retail is MUCH quicker then in the Earlier Expansion.
All I see here is a bunch of instant gratification plebs crying about something so meaningless. Why not give everyone the option to teleport instantly to wherever you want. Add on a a instant kill target option as well! For those who start to think “it takes to long to kill bosses, it should take 60 seconds tops”.

i clicked the upgrade button and as i was doing it, i was like… wait… it says portal to oribos… is it one way… i came here and found this…
I would accept that as a valid point, if you could name ONE other major portal that doesn’t have a return portal on the other side. Portals being both ways is standard practice nowadays.
The dealership doesn’t have to specify that the car has seats for you to be be pissed that you have to stand while driving your new car.
You do realize that we had to spend 10,000+ anima to get this portal, right? That’s a LOT for some of us. Over 2 months worth of anima for me. So, ya, one would expect a large QoL improvement than 2 minutes off of a 4 minute commute once or twice a day. Instant back-and-forth between our 2 major hubs would have been worth it, and that’s what we were led to believe we were getting.

I quite literally loot 11k anima a DAY in Zereth Mortis.
In 9.0, sure that was common. But not now.

Sorry for the late reply, but the Pandaria Shrines had portals to Org/SW, but no return portal, the Pandaria portal there only took you to Jade Forest.
The Garrison had a portal to Ashran (unlocked at Tier 3) but no return portal, you had to rely on the Garrison Hearthstone and its CD.
Similarly, no portal in Org/SW to Legion Dalaran, only to Azsuna.
Portals from expansion capitals to Vanilla cities other than Org/SW had no return portals, although these cities intermittently had portals back to Org/SW (BC’s Silvermoon/Exodar still have that, but I did say Vanilla cities, didn’t I? 
)
And while I respect the opinion that there should be a return portal (or that the cosmetic hearthstones should take you to the Covenant Sanctum) many posts here complain about spending weeks (at least in the beginning) to unlock a thing, without ever properly reading its description.
First of all, obligatory 2 years later.
But I was a victim of that, since my regular hearthstone was set to my sanctum already, when I read the cosmetic, I assumed it brought you to the sanctum. If only the text would have said “shares a cd with hearthstone” it would have dissipated all doubts.
That I do agree with, while on the vendor it should say “Returns you to <Hearthstone Location>” like on Wowhead.
Although this was also an issue of players not being that familiar with cosmetic Hearthstone replacements yet, and should be less of a problem going forward.
