Covenant Hearthstone

I’ve never felt more compelled to post on a Blizzard forum than I have tonight. I picked up the covenant hearthstone for ~600 anima, (not exactly sure the price), and it is absolutely useless. Not only does it share a cooldown with your regular hearthstone, but it also shares the destination! It’s a covenant specific hearthstone that costs anima! It’s completely misleading. I figured it would take you to your covenant sanctum. NO! It is a different visual for a regular hearthstone that costs precious anima. Not so much a big deal for a cosmetic purchase further down the road… but c’mon! Am I wrong in my assumption that it would port me to my sanctum? I think not. Unless you’re hurting for 1 extra bag slot, I suggest saving your anima for something beneficial. This needs to be changed.

Yeah… it’s just another hearthstone toy, sadly. I honestly thought the same when I first heard about it, assuming I’d have a Garrison style hearth. I kinda wasted anima on it.

Wow that is a load of crap. I was looking forward to having a hearth back to the covenant base. With the stupidly done removal of the flight whistle, to the reduction in the amount of flight paths we have, I was really looking forward to at least being able to port back to my covenant.

Sorry you had to be the tester OP…but I’ll be saving my anima I guess.

Welcome the World of Timecraft where everything is made to be super slow and tedious. Want to play a game and have fun!..NOT HERE YOU DON’T.

Exactly!! It’s frustrating.

Seriously! Let’s blow this up! If we get enough people in here, maybe Blizzard will see the error in their ways… Or at the very least make it more clear that the effects are that of a regular hearthstone.

Wow… really?! It was one of those things I was actually looking forward to unlock. Thank you blizzard.

Glad I read this and not gonna waste anima on a stupid toy. Was stoked for two hearthstones.

I knew it was the same as the holiday hearthstone and I wish it was otherwise, but as a collector I had to get it

I sold it right back once I realized it had the same CD and did some research. I think it’s just like a glyph for your hearth, lol.

Like I said… Cosmetically, honestly, it looks pretty cool! But at the very least it should be clear that that is all it is. I wouldn’t have used my anima on it this early had I known.

Unfortunately you have to read the fine print. When you mouse over the toy, even before you buy it, it tells you where it will hearth you to. Good thing I noticed that.

No…it’s a cosmetic toy. Just like the winterveil hearthstone, Hallows end hearthstone, etc. That’s all it ever was, it was never a second/third hearthstone.

Wasn’t it obvious it will be just a visual change? We already have bunch of them. We got one from Mechagon just a year ago and one from pre-order

I guess it’s my bad for not reading it. But like i said in original post, I’m not wrong in my assumption.

That wouldn’t help if someone already has their Hearthstone set to the Covenant Sanctum.

Put it on a longer CD than 15 min. then make it for covenants ONLY.

Zzzzzactly. I had mine set there. It DOES say, “Talk to an innkeeper to change blah blah…” maybe i’m just salty. I want my anima back! haha

It is misleading for a toy to be listed as a renown reward. There are lots of toys on the vendors already which aren’t listed in the renown rewards which leads people to think that the Hearthstone is special.

How so? All renown rewards are cosmetic.

I have a feeling they didn’t get rid of the flight whistle because of how Shadowlands is laid out (like they claim), but so that we would grind for our transportation networks.
