I finally started working on shadowlands unlocks… got through getting flying and unlocked the ardenwald soul seed area. I noticed the armor set for that area was just the leather one for my druid.
Do i have to get a plate, mail and cloth user through all of that and anima grinding just to get all the transmogs…? Or will that one set unlock the others?

Gross… haha
And they say its not worth doing all 4 on the same toon so you need 4 per covenant.
Only 16 characters…rofl. think ill go pick and choose what i really care about reward wise.

Be nice if the requirement to buy pieces was unlocked account wide
But hey, that’d require blizzard to want people to not spend 200 hours on old content

4 characters minimum since you can have all covenants on one toon and switch freely between them. 1 character per armor class.

thought it wasn’t worth swapping between them? o-o that was what i was told at least?
Be aware capes don’t carry over when you grind them on one character. Each alt requires exalted to wear them for some reason.
That was true initially but not anymore. It got much easier to change covenants over the course of the xpac. It’s now possible to switch to Kyrian by talking to the Kyrian NPC in Oribos, go to the vendor near the flight master in Oribos to buy the item to reach renown level 60 (out of 80), then talk to the Night Fae NPC (also in Oribos) to switch to Night Fae a minute or two later. The renown level 60 item (Broker Mark of Distinction) requires one toon to reach renown level 80 on one covenant.

Once on each type of armor, so four in total.
I did it. I promise you, with all the nerfs to getting that specific gear, its a breeze.

Its all seperate, yeah. So for the kyrian, you’d have to do the arena thing for every armor type. No thank you.
Good news, is for the stuff on the quartermaster, you can buy the instant renown level thing by the Oribos flightmaster.
