Covenant abilities ARE LOCKED AND I DONT LIKE IT!

That’s not Blizzard’s vision, they said we should play the covenant we want.

Who’s spitting on their Grand Design now? You are.

Oh ok so your argument is that because some of these changes went in the direction people were asking than it means that this one will as well.

Maybe next expansion dude, not going to happen.

Oh so they added another ring… Was this the thing everyone was asking for? I don’t think so…

Good news! Being able to change covenants is already part of the design!

I have, but it wouldn’t matter Brewa… its a singular choice, you make it for either RP or to better your toon, that choice is yours… Don’t put your choice on blizzard. If a Covenant is better for your class, then you go with it. If it betters you in RP and rp is your thing, then you go for it… Its your choice, no one is behind you forcing you to make a choice…

No, my argument is that Blizzard’s statements aren’t set in stone so going “but Blizzard said” is silly.

If the system launches and it’s a disaster like a lot of folks are predicting they will change it in 9.1 or 9.2.

If it isn’t, they won’t. It’s actually pretty simple. lol

This right here.

So Blizzard was just lying about how we could play what we want.

Good to know. I’m glad we’re all in agreement that they’re a bunch of liars.

Next topic!

Maybe next expansion, this one is not as easy to change.

You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. Don’t worry, I won’t even bother explaining it to you.

Why would you trust the people who have been screwing up the last few years to suddenly get it right in the expansion after Shadowlands?

We’ve never had to make this choice before, and it is a massive feelsbad if you’re forced into Night Fae for throughput when you have no attachment to Night Elves or Nature. This isn’t a decision that’s fun to make.

Again, they’ve said the same crap before. You’d be surprised how easy it is to change when the shareholders get unhappy because their subs or timeplayed or whatever tanked.

Not saying that it will. I don’t know how the overall population will react to this system.

My point is to quit being naive. They can and will change it if they need or want to. lol

Or have to play Kyrian when you find them obnoxious and boring.

gee… lets see blizzard said back in 2004 that paladins were to be in the front battling… guess what they were in the back healing… So um, yah… blizzard was lying… big old surprise here… just move on… make a choice is it going to be for RP or to better your primary… learn to live with it and make a choice, we all make choices thought life… in 6 months you will find out if you made the right one, just like in real life.

Holy Paladins in Classic that dont maintain Judgements are terrible Paladin players.

where have you been for the 15 years… they have slammed bad choices on us since release… come now… lets not loose our heads and forget the last 15 years.

Well, this is up to you. I’m not seeing this screwing up that you are talking about so…

yes because you need more than 1 holy paladin refreshing that 1 slot for either wisdom or light of the 16 slots available that is given to paladins in classic. You usually have 3 or 4 paladins, only 1 is up keeping that single allocated debuff slot up while the others are in the back with there cloth/leather healing.

What’s sad is that, due to the unique way the class powers work, changing as you change specs… the soulbind system is specifically worded in a way that the class power is not coupled or intertwined or w/e lawyer jibberish he touted. It’s just “when you use a covenant class ability…”

I suspect it’s more a case of the date was set for release and they can’t get the job done in time while trying to fix this, so we’ll have to wait for 8.1… err… 9.1. History repeats itself.
