When you really look at it, most covenant abilities aren’t related to their covenants at all! They just get the “covenant color scheme” and maybe some thematic naming.
Like the Necrolord Monk ability is throwing a keg of beer.
And the DK Night Fae ability is Death and Decay but pretty.
And the Kyrian Druid ability is good old Symbiosis but not as complicated.
And the Paladin Necrolord ability is throwing a hammer.
And the Warlock Night Fae ability is a lot of Drain Lifes (should have been the vampire ability, to be honest. It would fit way better).
And the Warrior Venthyr ability is you hit the guy.
I don’t know, I just don’t feel like you should have to join a covenant to do those things lol
Who would have thought a class themed ability would be thematic for the class?
That’s all we do though. We just hit guys until they stop moving or we do.

That’s not the point.
The point is that far too many Covenant abilities have little to nothing to do with the covenants themselves and could be done without joining a covenant.
Imagin’ each covenant has an ability and no matter what class you are that ability is the same. Abilities that won’t affect DPS/Healing/Tanking.
I’m tired of systems replacing class design and then the system is all wonky and classes perform all over the place.
I would love if these systems vanished and our classes actually got a new talent row? Feels so silly after all this time still no new talent row. Perhaps make classes feel like what their class identity is suppose to be?
