Reminds me of my greyhound and her bff that was a shih tzu. Grey doing her lanky & “I am so not in a hurry” walk and the shih tzu was practically trotting to keep up next to her. The shih tzu’s owner dubbed them Mutt & Jeff.
It is particularly cute if they actually have it be part of their “canon/story” that their characters are also together, it’s like a transcending boundaries sort of thing.
Speaking of which though, I am kind of surprised WoW hasn’t done any sort of in-game marriage thing outside of the Binding of Binding which kind of does it.
my Spouse and I are coincidently Both Night eleves. it wasn’t really Intenational since I started out as a Void elf Hunter but overtime i really like DH so we just ended up both being DHs lol. we Happened to switch off who tanks and who DPS depending on the expansion. I Tanked thru the DF expansion and he is tanking during this one. not really intentional but how it just happened overtime lol
Edit: I’m also a former Emo and now a Metal head who hangouts with a bunch of Goths. he was goth in the younger years so could be why we both ended up NF DH aesthetically.
I used to play with a couple who always ran as Night Elves and they’d usually always run stuff together. If they made alts they were night elves as well. My wife and I play together but we are not that way. She has always liked dwarves and gnomes while I stick with human or void elf. I don’t like the short races, she doesn’t like the tall
I’m not in a relationship at the moment and my exes haven’t played WoW but I know I’d have a hard time playing Forsaken or Orc if my would-be partner wanted to do this.
It is cute.
If my wife played this game there’s no chance I’d play anything other than an annoying little Goblin, running around her 24/7 being a pest.
My husband and I have made a few alts together that were the same race (ie: MoP made panda monks together that eventually both race changed to VE’s, Legion made NE DH’s together, etc…) but with the new starting area, or allied races all coming to SW/Org, it sorta petered out until the Dracthyr was opened up to more classes. But that was more if one can glide and the other cannot, someone (me) is going to fall off a cliff and forget their goblin glider.
My partner and I play many alts with a Quasi main each expansion so sometimes we end up playing the same race. However this expansion this is my “Main” and my partner is maining a Nelf hunter.
My wife only played for a few months during Wrath. We had two sets of characters, who I would only play mine if she was on her corresponding character.
First was her Human mage with my Dwarf Paladin. After the level squish, they are both level 9.
We also had two Gnome Death Knights. After the level squish, they are 24.
I have not played mine since 2010, so they are still the same level as hers.
