Couple Good Questions

Hey guys… I haven’t played WoW in about a year because my computer died (actually it was my Hard Drive)… Right now I don’t have room for WoW on my PC, but I’m getting an external Hard Drive for Christmas, so I have 3 good questions…

  1. I think I have enough Gold to buy Membership but I do not have Membership, can I still use the Auction House without membership?

  2. If I don’t have membership and I am over level 20 am I not allowed to log into the game or can I still play but limited play?

  3. I have 2GB VRAM and 6GB RAM, according to the Game Details my computer is not fast enough to play WoW, but last year with the same specs I was playing WoW with good FPS on Low Settings, is this still the same?

You can’t use the Auction House if you have not bought Game Time …

BUT you don’t need to use the AH to buy a Token. IF you have enough gold to buy a Token, that will be displayed on the login screen where you see your characters, and you can buy it from there. Here’s a video, set up to the relevant time.

Long time ago, and prices were different! but it still works the same way.

If you have no Game Time, you can create a character and play it up to level 20.It will not level higher than 20.

If you have no Game Time, you can NOT log into a character that is above level 20.

Things haven’t changed much in the last year, since the launch of TWW.

It sounds low, but on low settings you may find it OK. Make a character and see, or choose one of your existing characters below level 20.

I’m sure it would be fine for Classic. With Retail, I find that more recent expansions have higher requirements, put more load on your GPU and CPU, so I’d take your Level 10-20 into Dragonflight in Chromie Time to test performance there.
