Seems kind of funky, but when you look at the Wowhead for the items themselves, req level is 80. So I wonder if it’s something we can collect when we hit 80.
game has launched and is still a problem
I can understand if we can’t USE these currency type items until 80. I can’t understand that, what, the first rep, rep level 3, you basically trip and fall on your face in the TWW intro and you are rep 3 (yes, I know exaggerating, but close!) you are told “Go talk to dude get your reward!” and you get squat, is what the game play is supposed to be.
Again I completely get currency stuff only buys level 80 stuff. No reason why we can’t get and collect as we level up on the way to 80.
still no rep rewards day after launch
I finally hit 80 and got ! quests on the various rep dudes to get my rewards. So as someone else said you get them after hitting 80.
Quests
Quests that grant rewards from the renown track should now be available without being level 80.
I got you boys. I had the same issue even at level 80. Apparently it’s not a bug. I had to do the quests in the city that showed on the mini map. They start a chain where they make you run around.
Once the reward becomes … something Allied Races, that’s the last chain. Once you complete it and expose some dwarf at the very end. The renown 6 pops up and you progress.
P.S I checked the reward was called " [Earthen Allied Race]" and the start quest is called How Scandalous. It’s 15 quests once you complete them, you progress with Renown. Hope this helps anyone who was also stuck.

It seems the currency reward is actually being awarded, but there is a significant lag between the turn in and the displayed currency amount updating.
I just turned in one of the Pouch of Resonance Crystals quests and the currency did not appear to be awarded immediately. I switched over to my browser to see if there was any information on this, then several minutes later I looked back at my open inventory and my Resonance Crystals total had increased by 250.
So, I guess make note of your value before the turn in and wait a few minutes before checking to see if it actually increased.
I already did that a month ago.
October 13, 2024, Earth-Encrusted Gem still doesn’t seem to exist in game.
I HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND IT’S 1/5/25.
And i have to write something irrelevant b/c blizzard’s trashtacular AI crapbot won’t let me post otherwise.
