I just found out about the “progressive loot” system, so I’m resubmitting this one. The item in question is the Salamanther Heart, which is needed for a Dragonflight campaign quest. According to Wowhead, the progressive loot system applies to this item. If it’s correct, then the odds that I encountered a glitch rather than monumentally bad luck are even better. I was farming in the correct location for the campaign quest. I’m aware that another quest involves farming Salamanthers in more possible locations.
