Sorry, that’s not how I took the lore pre-Wow at all, dark portal was a portal to another world certainly… but it wasn’t about spaceships and crashed aliens.

Where to start? First, Classic will last for a couple of years minimum. You may find your opinion has changed when and if Blizzard decides on the future options. When it comes to TBC , I respectfully disagree. I thought it was a fun expansion pack and well worth another visit ( classic style ). We have plenty time to mull it over and I am sure Blizzard is already thinking about it at the very least.
I am of the opinion that they will always have Classic servers in stasis. People who wish to play Classic deserve to have it as long as they wish. I also believe they will release TBC and envision it a success. Everyone wins

was a joke one could make about ur wife used to be the hot chick that walked past, and saying I don’t have a wife because my wife did the same. (just walk past) so my wife doesn’t exist.
They did say that if the Classic venture turns out to be successful, they will consider the idea of TBC and WotLK servers. But if that does turn out to be the case, I hope they stop with WotLK servers, because I personally believe WotLK was the last best expansion…everything that came afterward feels…tainted.
Regardless, I’m so hyped for August 26th. Too bad my playtime is going to be a bit limited because college starts up for me in 5 days…

TBC was my favorite time in WoW. If they offer a TBC server in a few years I’m all over it.

They’ll probably make TBC-only servers and keep them seperate from Classic servers.
This way you could copy over or transfer to TBC with your classic character if you want to move onto there.
I’d rather stay in classic wow forever personally. I like the idea of a finite progression with a definitive ending.
Also - I was never a big fan of the Draenei dimensional spaceship stuff either. But it is what it is.
