We have been over this one… it’s about AV back in the day when raids could join it together… it does not apply to now.

How about a more recent post that says the same thing:

To be clear though, queuing at the same time as someone else isn’t considered cheating.

If they are using other means to do so, that might be, but basically going… “One, two, click!” has never been.

And the other means is most likely referring to when blizzard broke the ability for an addon to manipulate the queue in patch 5.1 back in 2012
