Could someone explain to me something about Rogue PvP?

I am reading some guides and the goto build uses hemorrhage. Do you just use hemorrhage once and then SS till the charges run out or do you just spam hem for combo points because of its low energy cost?

One other thing I would like to ask is if Ghostly Strike is worth it? I like the idea of having another spell and I think it would be pretty great against other rogues, druids, and warriors. is that extra point into camo worth it? If you did use it, you would just always use it on CD instead of SS or Hem right?

You use hemo all the time, it costs less energy than SS and hits almost as hard. Ghostly strike is great for extra burst and survivability.

You use hemo responsibly in pvp. It is your primary generator but don’t stupidly spam it and bottom out your energy because you should always be looking to have at least 25 untouched energy for clutch kicks/kidney/gouge if you wait for a tick and go to 45. It’s a good generator because of the low energy cost. Another thing that’s strong about it is how it works. It’s basically an auto attack you can force out instantly which means it favors slower weapons, this is why the best weapon for the spec when everything is out is Misplaced Servo Arm just because of the damage. The proc is nice but nothing like super special, it’s all about just how hard that thing hits that makes it god tier for hemo.

As for ghostly strike, I find it worth it and I use it like feint in retail. If you predict some damage is going to be coming you use Ghostly Strike for the 15% dodge and stack it on top of evasion. That alone is +65% dodge chance onto your gear. You’re talking like 85% chance to dodge territory when you have MC loot and upwards of 95% when you have Bonescythe.

Wholly disagree with you on that. Sinister Strike hits much harder and it’s very evident. The disparity only widens as time goes on.

Wow that was extremely detailed and elaborate. Thanks!

Hemo is purely a combo point generator. It’s generally used for the bleeds and for OH damage from the debuff it gives. Hemo, get your 5 point bleed on the person then SS, hemo again if you need combo points for a kidney shot or something else.

followup as well. I forgot that the Talent Lethality also buffs the crit damage of Hemo which also makes it good for spamming for burst damage, but only if you get lethality.

Hehehe, yes, please dodge and keep dodging! I love all of my swings turning into Overpower crits.

It’s either I worry about an ability you can use once every 5 seconds, or get four shot because you hit like a train anyway. Realistically in a fight you’re not touching me because it’s either stunlock or bleed kiting depending on DRs.

Rogue CC’s are brutal, and one of the main reasons I rolled as an Orc, other than for their aesthetic, was for Hardiness. An improved resistance to what is normally a Warrior’s biggest Achilles heel was just too good to pass up.

Tyvm XJ, for finally clearing that up for me. I’ve been wondering about the whole Rogue v.s. Warriors’ Overpower for a while.
