Super intelligence is not to be trifled with, and has proven (in most cases) to be the most powerful and feared weapon in any arsenal. If Mechagnomes could get the villain bat, not only would we be given the opportunity to LAUNCH METALLIC STAKES FROM A BALLISTIC WEAPON, CAUSING THEM TO BE PINNED ON A WALL WITH YOUR PATHETIC AND BLEEDING CORPSE IN BETWEEN, but give the player base to finally accomplish an achievement in cannon.
That cannon accomplishment being punting a Mechagnome raid boss. Everybody wins.
Also, there is not enough Alliance races who get the villain bat. I want more battle or war opportunities. That would be cool.
Blizzard has to intentionally be very careful when exploring gnomish lore. They’re technology is so advanced that it could quickly turn the Warcraft Universe into a sci-fi genre.
I think it’s the primary reason that gnomes are generally left untouched lore-wise.
Didn’t we already do that with the Draenai and their warframes, spaceships, interplanetary travel, and laser cannons? We had an entire patch in legion devoted to it.
I don’t think the gnomes could do any more damage than has already been done because where do you go from there? lol.
Milhouse Manastorm is the pinnacle of villainous gnomes leaving room for no one else.
And honestly you know the writers would make the villain as goofy as possible because that’s a trait all gnomes not named Gelbin Mekkatorque must have.
