As far as I remember, CS for the last 5 yrs couldn’t solve anything and always replied me useless things.

Step one receive automatically generated response.

Step two after you read it and it doesn’t apply whatsoever to your issue, wait 5 days.

Step three be told they are sorry but the achievement trigger from the quest you did that you can’t repeat and is prohibiting you from interacting with an entire game loop sucks but there is nothing they can do but wait for a fix to be deployed sometime in the future.

Step four swallow your dignity and keep playing but not that entire section of the game because that would require the aforementioned achievement trigger.

Is this a class specific quest like legion artifacts?
Or can it be done on a different character?

If I level a new character to max level it might be resolved haven’t tried.

GM support has been bad for years and it will never get better. I honestly feel bad for any player who hasn’t had a legit interaction with an old gm. nearly every interaction was notable even if they couldn’t help. wow is just a self sustaining cash cow that pays for making other blizzard games. I would be shocked if 25 cents out of every dollar goes into wow upkeep and development. 1/50th of overwatch cost could of paid for player housing in wow.
Things will only get better once Microsoft starts to fire people at the top.

Yea I’m not blaming the actual employees to be clear I know their hands are tied.

But man for contrast compared to BC or WOTLK when a GM would appear in the middle of your raid usually with an RP flourish and just chat like a regular guild mate. Maybe mess with your raid in some way, “accidentally” sheep everyone etc.

It’s just night and day.

More of a vintage man myself, a classic “Blizzard has ruined everything with the introduction of anything” truly goes well with cheese and crackers.

My friend is still not able to play WoW cause the support site runs her around in circles, or keeps asking for something she has no access to or just keeps saying too many attempts when it’s her first attempt of the day.

All could be solved if there was someone she could talk to rather then an email response which promptly gets “solved” when the issue still isn’t.

I have one. I was kicked from a raid boss mid encounter, but ended up killing the boss, and getting loot locked. Mind you I never got a shot to roll on the loot that dropped or get any crests. It was fyrakk.

Customer support didn’t help me. They just after linking me dumb generic articles said to post on the forums. All I wanted was to not be loot locked since I killed the boss but was not given the opportunity to roll on the loot since I was removed from group mid pull because I was too slow running up to the boss

So basically customer support is useless and just redirects you here. Why would t they have the ability to actually umm…support their customers?

Of course they didn’t. Because there’s nothing they can do. You were there for the encounter. They can’t override that fact.

They aren’t useless. You just went to them with something that isn’t a problem they can do anything about.

The fact they can’t do anything about it is exactly the problem. There is no support.

You’re asking them to change the base coding of raids. This isn’t a sweater you’re trying to buy. Not everything can be changed to your whims. Learn what you’re asking for first before you make any other nonsensical comments.

they can’t fix every problem. that’s not the same thing. i think you know this.
