Cosmetics are Weak

Some of us care how we look. :stuck_out_tongue:

I think the Cobalt Assembly grind gives ilvl 389 rings or something close to that, and you can get some more ilvl 389 stuff from the Storm’s Fury vendor, and you can get gear that is upgradeable to 385 (and possible to convert to tier once upgraded) by getting elemental overflow and storm sigils through primal storms

It’s better if the rewards from rep grinds are mostly cosmetic

There are players who want both. And in any case, without gear, the game cannot be played. So if Blizzard wants maximum participation in their target content, they have to make gear possible. But people who either don’t care about gear and are just into cosmetics, or those who do care about gear and also like cosmetics will have less to do if you remove that from the game.

every mog I want drops from Selpucher. :dracthyr_cry_animated:

Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.

I don’t want to dismiss your ability to play WoW, but I have a real life on a big fricking farm, and I can’t and do not want to spend 8 hours a day meeting the current rigors of Wow, Mythic+ dungeon full of my betters that will kick on a notion. You do PVE content, and you get 360, and I am happy with that so far. Tradeskills locked behind REP timegates seem awkward and stupid, but that is obvious.

At least in the old days you could grind rep on a mob per mob basis, but that appears to be extinct, Iskarra Tuskarr for an example, and I may be wrong.

Yes, I am a casual, but at lvl 70 I recall I was about 348 iLvl and I had a great time.

Paper Doll rewards are not my interest or cup of tea because I have little time to display and preen like a peacock in front of a WoW audience at the newest trade market created by Blizzard.

Just me, and that’s my feeling, and I am just a lone Game Developer that watches the trends.

I agree, I Mogg’ed my Heirlooms because they were ugly.

No hate. It’s just the idea that a ā€œMog Setā€ is based on a southsea swashbuckler L30" from vanilla is just too much.

If you want more powerful equipment go get it, theres plenty of content with it

We can tell.

Is it though, or are you just doomsaying and having a personal rant about how little time you have and how you gotto manage your farm. I hope the cows have been milked before you posted this.

I will most certainly do that, and ignore the transmog cook book off hand…

Cobalt Assembly is literally just farming mobs for rep. You can also do the Centaur Hunts which is literally just killing mobs for rep in various zones. You can farm key fragments and key frames for Wathion/Sabellion reps – which is gained exclusively through killing mobs.

a good transmog gives you a solid 10% boost to your DPS

smh OP how you are such a noob that doesn’t know this

are you even min/maxing

Actually, I had to avoid the rain, and bury the duck that was killed by a roaming dog. Don’t worry, the Coconut tree will do well with the remains of the Duck under the roots.

If you want doomsaying, check out the price of Diesel…

I don’t believe you. Can you back this up or are you a disinfo troll?

I think I specifically mentioned Iskarr, but I appreciate your feedback. I love the Key Frame and Key Frag farms, and have a ton, thank you.

checks OP’s ilvl

yes this has already been discussed on these forums, you’re really behind the times on your WoW info

keep up noob

No no. You said ā€œthose rep grinds are extinct.ā€ I have you 3 examples adjacent to Iskarra rep.

I have no issues with anything you’ve said, but let’s not be disingenuous here. There is content you like and enjoy. The content has viable upgrade paths for you and fits your chief complaint in the OP.
