Corsair One i500 bios update?

Hiya,

Off chance anyone know if Corsair has the 0x12f microcode bios update somewhere?

Can’t play wow now without it.

Running through the builder on Corsair, I got to the mobo selector. I did not remember a Corsair Motherboard, but they appear to use MSI, Gigabyte, and Asus. I would start there.

Normally their product page shows the latest BIOS updates, but the page for the Corsair One i500 shows 0x12B as the latest update to that system, meaning the OP will have to either use the self-help tool via browser (Chrome, Edge, or Opera only), or contact Corsair directly. Not sure why Corsair hasn’t put out the 0x12F update yet as it’s really necessary for users on the Intel CPUs.

If you are using a prebuilt and use a BIOS it doesn’t have listed it voids the return policy, they’ll consider the damage caused by the user. So that’s not a great idea unless you’re at the end of that.

And not much you can do but contact Corsair and see if they get you a updated one, and if not… well that return policy might have to be used. It took them a while to get the B update out too iirc.

Whereas the CPU cooking itself to death because the builder couldn’t be troubled to release the correct microcode would be fine to RMA.

It depends on the company. Corsair does have beta version of some of their bios updates just need to contact support.

I contacted them a week ago. They suck and beyond “we got your ticket” i got nothing.

I reccomend NEVER buying corsair due to their lousy customer support and their bottle necking bios updates.
