Blizzard said that Mother will sell corruptions later in the week, but some people are able to buy them right now. I can’t on any of my toons. Is it a bug that people can see them?

They are not available right now or at least when I checked earlier.
Are people actually able to buy them or is this people just being people and creating chaos?
Yes, the vendor is live now. But since they rushed it out (like everything else) some realms aren’t seeing the vendor. They’re planning rolling restarts tonight and supposedly that will fix it.

While on the discussion of the Corruption Vendor, I need to know, will ALL Corruptions including ones from Raid for example Ra’Den’s one hand with the lashing tenticles be available to add to a weapon?

Everything about what they released this week has been a bug. Someone on these forums needs to get on the phone and ask why the dev team is making them look like idiots.
lashing tentacles isn’t a special corruption, its just a weapon thats guaranteed to have it. just like the caster sword from carapace has infinite stars, there isn’t anything special about the effect except that its a guaranteed effect
Nobody knows, but going by what Raidbots has added to their Top Gear page, none of the raid-specific corruptions are listed.
It would be nice if Blizzard would clarify this because by stating “MOTHER’s stock of Preserved Contaminants changes twice a week at the same time as the Minor Assault, cycling through all available Corruption effects.” all available corruption effects include raid because they are available even through LFR
It would be nice if Blizzard said a number of things about this system. So far they only seem to be answering what’s glaringly obvious:
- MOTHER is found to be selling corruptions – Blizzard: “yes, this is live.”
- MOTHER is found on some realms to not be selling corruptions – Blizzard: “yes, this is confirmed. Rolling restarts tonight will fix it.”
Well at least they’ve been… consistent from start to finish in this expansion in that regard…
Good news they are garbage ones for this round so not missing much
