Having the resources to buy something then having to wait weeks or a month to play feels really bad! If we can’t buy the specific corruption we need many of us log off. Oh the gear I NEED isn’t available yet well guess I’ll check out some new game while I wait for the rotation to come up that has the corruption I NEED to make the build to play the game.
Seriously corruption is going away and you can’t even let the player just see what BFA is like? I can’t get over that you guys said you don’t want the players to ever make the builds they want before an expansion ends.
Why is there still timegating at the end of an expansion! This is just unreal that you don’t want people to log in and play the game. Right now new players are coming in and wanting to gear up and make alts for SL and they are hit with never being able to complete a BFA build because Blizzard doesn’t want you to have fun.
Just remove all the time gating please!!!
Have sockets cost 5k momentos down from 25k
Have all Essences unlock if you get 90 Heart
Have all corruption up at the vendor to buy and reduce the cost by 50%
Let people just play the game for 1 month before pre-patch since you really messed up this entire expansion. At least redeem yourself for just 1 month as a token of good faith going into SL that you care even 1%.
8.3 is based on corruptions. Not buying corruptions = not playing the game.
Why can’t we just enjoy the end of an expansion and be able to just play the game for once! By time gating this entire expansion we never got to actually play it. This is just the most frustrating lack of care ever experienced and I still haven’t bought SL yet because how they treat us in BFA still to this day is very telling!
Why do I want to commit to SL if they can’t ever make BFA open to play?
I think that’s my biggest fear going into Shadowlands is Blizzard’s complete disregard for the current game when the future expansion is on the horizon. And it’s not the first time they’ve done it. MoP was a good example where Blizzard was just like see ya until WoD came out. And we know how that ended.
People are more willing to commit to SL because it’s (seemingly) more open to play than BFA, and especially 8.3. That’s why we’re all waiting for it to end, so we don’t waste our time farming visions for echos for corruptions that are about to vanish. We can do other stuff, like mog farming, working a job, improving our computers or playing other games.
BFA doesn’t matter. BFA content doesn’t matter. It’s dead, Jim.
It’s a shame that an entire expansion restricts the players from ever being able to have fun. This is why players want old servers and Classic/TBC where it’s the players choice not the Devs.
Yea but that is a statement that they don’t care about the player base. When you neglect everyone and say but…but… you will love us next expansion. Sorry but our faith and respect is already lost.
I want to buy SL and it obviously looks better than BFA but I think the Devs need to step up their game and get people excited about SL by making the right decisions in BFA.
Can Blizzard just let players have fun for even one month before pre-patch to try and redeem all the wrong decisions that Blizzard made.
So there is a chance for the Devs/Blizzard to redeem themselves and you think they should just say nah and go for a perfect record of screwing up an entire expansion. There is excitement for SL so why not free up BFA for people to have fun right before Pre-patch. Why kill the SL excitement with the current problems and drive people away right before an expansion. It doesn’t make sense.
PS- forum issue with my character I made this post on I had to relog now it’s gone as an option to post on. So had to post on this guy
You must be new here. They’re not going to go through the work to redeem themselves for a month or so before it all changes again. It’s going away and the time to improve it has come and gone. BFA team is a skeleton crew at this point.
To be fair they should’ve done that earlier in 8.3, but Shadowlands is the future so screw the current playerbase. And like lemmings we follow Blizzard off the cliff. Now it’s too late to fix anything.
It’s not work. They just have to let it happen. Everything is in place to let it happen. The changes proposed can be put out in a rolling hotfix. I didn’t ask for class redesign. I just said to open everything up so player can play the game for the first time this expansion.
It hasn’t! Just remove the timegating so player can have fun going into a new expansion. It’s incredibly simple!!! So simple they could do this really fast and latter today if they wanted.
We don’t need a crew because nothing needs to be worked on. We are just removing the timegating.
They should have, but they didn’t, and then when the end of the expansion was in sight, it was all clearly shelved to put all attention to Shadowlands.
Fully socketed and at my corruption limit with plenty to spare. While waiting for your corruption to appear, my recommendation is to focus on building up more momentos and gear.
I’ve done most of the sockets on my second character too! I’m hoping for two 475 weapons one day for my monk but I think SL will be upon us before the RNG gods bless me.
This is the most frustrating thing!!! I have 50k echoes and literally just waiting till the corruption comes up. There is no reason to play. If the corruption I needed came up I would be able to spend all the resources I gathered/worked hard for and enjoy the game for the rest of the expansion.
All that needs to happen is a quick hotfix to remove the timegating. It’s really simple and will increase player played time going into pre-patch. A lot of players would love to experience corruption and see what it was about.
Yea doesn’t really help been waiting 3 weeks. Then when I make this build I will likely want to try another build and then how long will I have to wait for that one? Looking for a solution which is giving player a chance to finally play BFA for the first time and make the builds that they want.
Also buying 9% amps just because the 12% isn’t available is beyond dumb. Just have everything at the vendor. This system is the worst in the history of WoW.
