I’ve read a few guides on Arcane Mage corruptions and I can’t seem to find consensus so I’d figure if I’d ask here.
What would the community suggest in this option - Which is best for arcane between rank 2 Infinite Stars or Gushing Wounds.
Or even crazier should I wait for rank 3 Infinite Stars even though if it’s true that the cloak will cap at 125 resistence that will pretty which raise my corruption as high as I’m will to go when the cloak gets there.
Infinite Stars just seems over hyped and it’s on average 3-4% of my damage in heroic Ny.
Even though Gushing was nerfed and Stars sims higher (in terms of DPS/corruption), Gushing is going to be better for almost all practical situations except long ST encounters (think Shad and H Xanesh). But Severe and maybe Strikethrough will be better for general use.
Stars just isn’t that good for builds that don’t stack Haste. Also note that you will want to put Gushing on a 470+ piece, since it (like Stars) scales with the ilvl of the gear it’s on.
Ya I’m going to be putting it on the heroic sword from Cara.
Ya I already have 3 Severe and now with the lesser corruption i’m going to get more Strikethough and I can now out my booth with the stacking crit one too.
Most of us arcane idiots are going for a combo of severe and strikethrough. Gushing wounds is decent but not as good after the nerf, and only 15 corruption per slot isn’t ideal.
