How much corruption would you say is too much? I have 5x 12% vers amps I want to use but my cape only has +62 resist. So that will put me at -38% corruption.
As a healer how terrible would that be?

last thing you want is a thing from beyond spawning when you are CC’d in deep dampening and taking 20% of your hp in free damage for them for 1 extra 8% vers amp
living on the edge is the way to go, stack to 170 id say.

keep a lower corruption against rmp / frost dk
they tend to use spite and then you’re just gonna die through it.
I think I will stay with higher corruption since like 95% of teams are locks anyways.
You could just have a separate low corruption set.
iv tried 39 corruption as a healer, and dident like it. That eye gets kinda big and hurts, also a pretty big pain when you’re trying to hug a pillar. Usually i keep it just slightly below 30 corruption.

You also want to make sure you’re wearing the essence Spirit of Preservation. This will give you an extra 10 resist.

Get BiS Mastery/Versa, enchant and gem versa and get versa amps.

62 resist + 10 from essence = 72 resistance
Ring - 12% Versa Amp = 20 corruption
Boots - 12% Versa Amp = 20 corruption
Bracers (upgrade with sigil) - 12% Versa Amp = 20 Corruption
Those 3 pieces probably won’t be upgraded for awhile, I’d suggest them over the others your armory says you have on.
Get 2 more 465+ mastery/versa pieces (Hivemind and Raden drop gloves and a staff if you raid) and enchant those with 12% versa amps too.
you’d have 5 items with 12% versa amps, which is 5x20 = 100 corruption
100 corruption - 72 resist = 28
You can afford 1 6% versa corruption (like the one on your haste/versa ring) until you get different gear and more corruption resist.

The corruption limit (from items, at least) is 750.
Wrists, weapon, offhand item, gloves, belt, pants, boots, 2 rings can give up to 675 corruption.
Not wearing Ashjrakamas(?) and instead using a 430 cloak with another +75 corruption plopped on it brings it up to 750.
If you want to push it even higher, you can get in combat with a Corrupted mob that pulses an aoe curse debuff every few seconds – it adds 1 corruption per stack.
More seriously: You probably don’t want to go above 39 corruption for any reason in PvP, unless you’re specifically trying to meme or make a gimmick oneshot or get oneshotted build. Hell, you might not want to go above 19 even, just in case the enemy team is packing the corruption circle trinket.
