ESO is garbage and just as bad with gear, they rely on proc sets and effects, same as what corruption is in wow, to artificially boost players dps because the avg player does garbage dps… even worse in eso if they suck at animation cancelling etc which should never be in a game! their dps will be so bad they will never clear anything to get the monster sets and more procs.
proc sets and abilities compensate for bad players… so its a designer tool.
Except for the bit where the whole blizzard team routinely goes back on their word as demonstrated by the entirety of BFA? I guess.

Without bad luck or not playing , you get roughly 5-7 corrupted pieces a week … 3-5 vision runs , m+/conquest weekly chest then you add in the rng that all 8.3 rewards can corrupt…
Lets say (example) playing for a month , that 20-28 corrupted piece not counting the extras you could get from rng …
Sure they’re going away in shadowlands , all good imo but corrupted gear is so easy to acquire if you put in the effort … surely at least 3 of those each week are 460+ so its not all low ilvl stuff either :S
That’s not learning, that’s called going backwards. It’s a terrible solution, better than corruption but far worse than forging.

I’ve noticed an increased drop rate this week or the last few. Maybe nothing but I seemed to get a far better selection than just void ritual on every piece.
Its called going back to the stuff that actually worked, they learned that the community dislikes RNG (finally) so they for once arent replacing chickenforging with meatforging or any stupid similarity.

Yup, and everyone any good will be decked out in their best in slot gear from m+ in a few days every single season. With no incentive to do more for those chances at very minor upgrades.

There is a happy medium somewhere, where they could still provide loot incentive similar to seasons 1-3 of BFA. Maybe it’s only 5ilvl, maybe it’s 10.
But there is definitely room for a sensible compromise somewhere between NOTHING and a corruption piece that does 50% of your dps.
I swear my RNG is horrible when it comes to getting the good corruptions. All I ever get is the same ones. Never seen the ones everyone else seems to have

yeah…15 years…and they actually had a good thing going early on then THEY changed the game to make it suck.

yeah…all those rep grinds and grinds for 1000 other things werent enough. Had to make it so you cant even get a flippin gear drop (which by the way you are GRINDING for in the first place, day by day) without it screwing you over and making your time WASTED.

THAT is blizzard fault for doing this lottery joke system instead of a GRADUAL increase by giving you incremental upgrades as your gear drops we have this joke of a Mega Millions crap where you get hosed for a week then at some point get some god gear drop.

Face it, youre used to WoW so you HAVE to defend it. end of story.
On one druid I got;
Day one - 2 of 4 pieces were corrupted.
Day two - 3 out of 5 pieces were corrupted. To be fair, one I didnt even need to go after in the first place, but it had different stats.
Day three - 1 of 2 pieces were corrupted.
Thats 6 out of 11 drops that were corrupt on one character in three days.
Never said that,that is how blizzard came with them in the first place keep reaching here.they came in patches people forget people stopped logging in because of bis items for what they did most.So they added forges then.
Forging had other problems with it too. Going back to forging would be a mistake.
That’s not how mythic plus works tho. That’s not how this game works tho. That’s not how any of this works.

RNG did not make corruption terrible. Corruption did that all by itself . Worst gearing system ever.
