Which is fine. It just means that your number 1 priority now is running the entire cloak questline, and then running Horrific Visions to level your cloak so that you can equip corrupted gear without the worst effects of it. Given how much corrupted gear you have, and the fact that much of the gear you will be getting, from any source, in 8.3 will be corrupted if it is any good, the cloak has to be priority number 1, regardless of whether you like the quests or the content. That’s irrelevant – the item is by far the most absolutely necessary item in 8.3, regardless of your playstyle, because unless you at least get the cloak (i.e., even if for some reason you decide not to level it), you have no ability to cleanse the gear – that’s also locked behind completion of the cloak questline.
So really, doing that long questline is by far and away the single most important priority for you right now in WoW. Grit the teeth and get it done.
