The dev team needs to implement a system to restore cleansed corruption gear once you go in and make changes.
Its very rude and disrespectful to players who have put in raid time to acquire gear and then cleanse the corruption because its performance was poor. A week later you make changes and now that player gets screwed because of your changes and in no fault of the player.
I can see you loosing subs over things like this.
Or your skin is thin.
lol…nothing new here this is like exactly the same thing that always happens every expansion. Things change get used to it.
“I can see you losing a lot of subs…” is a meme at this point.
It is indeed disrespectful of player time and effort into a system that punishes players. They should allow restoration of cleansed item with some type of mechanism. But they should have thought about this when they first put corruption forging on the white board.
lol
How can you even see them losing subs anyways when that information isn’t provided. /ponder.
Reminds me of players who do race transfers or play another class because it’s the flavor of the month, only for Blizzard to change the balance. Lmao.
Or they could just let you reroll corruption and pick from 2-3+ a cleansed version.
I’ll probably be done caring about this patch before I get a corruption I care about.
Yup.
If the diablo B team is going to steal concepts from Diablo franchise at least have the professional decency to add in the supporting systems.
To be fair the two handed axe was trash for the first week of the raid then blizzard buffed it by x14 so anyone who cleansed it during the first week got fd.
While I agree it is not an ideal situation and they (once again) failed to ensure things are balanced against one another, you probably should have known better than to cleanse them. This happened early in BFA when AZ traits were all out of balance and they came back and adjusted them (several times). People complained that they had already destroyed now useful armor.
New features like this tend to be tweaked often after release and you should have known this was going to be the case. It sucks but it has been the historical norm for WoW for a while now.
If only they implemented an item restoration system to restore items you; vendor, DE, or just destroy…
i dont think it works for scrapped ones
That would only work if they updated it to track corruption effects upon equipment. Plus why you cleanse it, it tells you this will not be reversed. So it’s not like they didn’t warn us or is it like quests and just no one reads it
Valid question so worth the response. I have a friend that canceled his sub this past Thursday. While the specific complaint i have was not 100% of the reason it was part of it.
I also know some people will refuse to do business with a company that disrespects them on principal. That is how i know it can cost subs.
Frankly with any corporate american company they are not going to care unless it can possibly effect their profit.
And that’s the problem with rental powers…
Because we all make decisions based on the information we have. So if you are attempting to raid progression you have to manage your corruption carefully. Cleansing underperforming corruptions to optimize is the smart choice. Problem comes when blizz comes in and changes things without allowing the player the option or reconsidering what would be new choices.
WoD called.
Corruption isn’t from Diablo though, Azerite and it’s horrendous successor, Corruption, aren’t in Diablo at all. Anywhere.
