I have a question about hidden artifact skins. I have the corrupted ashbringer on my pally but would like to get the gold skin. In BFA do I just need to kill the players with the skin transmog or do I have to equip the weapon with the corrupted skin to get credit for the kills?
It does not need to be equipped, only unlocked, and the hidden appearance applied to the weapon through your order hall. Might need to have it in your bags, not sure.
I have it in my bag unlocked and have the red version also. I guess I can go war mode and back to argus to check the status before and after a few kills just to see if i’m getting credit.
Well, I know people have been getting the PvP tint while fighting Ghuun, without even trying (apparently Explosive Corruption killing fellow players counts as PvP).
I know they weren’t wearing their Legion Artifact, I’m just not sure if it was in their bags or their bank.
Only requirement is that you have to do the work on the character that unlocked the tint. Whew!
