Arms warrior. Beautiful for dungeon farming with WF
Hunter will use it in PvP and PVE.
Everybody else will just use it as a transmog.

It’s nobody’s weapon unless you wanna RP in sw or see the SM event. Peacemaker is literally better
Peacemaker is a 206 top end weapon with 56 attack power and 1 crit.
Ashbringer is a 389 top end with 2 crit and 1 hit.
In what way is peacemaker better for melee weaving?
Wasn’t taking into account melee weaving tbf.
Anyway, eye of nerub/fankriss polearm is better than CAB anyway for 2h, but most hunters go with hatchet/kingsfall mh and hod offhand for the stat sticks
Sure the lazy hunters will do that.
Ashrbinger for everyone else is just SW bis but hunters would actually use it in every aspect of the game if they melee weave.
Hunters should be marking/thinking about pulling the next pack rather than worrying about melee weaving tbf

Ive been smacked around pretty good by a couple with it. Goof up that deadzone and get into melee range? Watchout!

Hunter weapon for sure.
Unironically it is a Hunter weapon, albeit very niche Naxx speedrun context that only applies to a handful of Hunters. You use it to create a health deficit by swapping to your normal weapons and then back to Ashbringer, so that the Priest can PoH you through the Gothikk gate to take agro from whatever you are pulling on the other side.
I mean it’s also a good melee weaving weapon.
All the other classes that use it don’t even use it, they just sit in SW with it.
It is a meme weapon, there are better alternatives for all the classes. Hunter probably the most likely to wear it in pve though
Whoever really wants it for the RP, etc should just go for it.

All my hunters are in phase 1 / 2 pvp gear so I don’t know their endgame bis, but I’d guess that eye of nerub is probably better and less competition.
But yeah, if hunter really wants the corrupted ashbringer just give it to them.
But in the end, a naked hunter that can do pulls well is 100x more useful then a bis geared hunter trying to pump and can’t pull.
They are very close those two weapons.
