Are there any addons that are currently unusable due to corruption or errors? Was unable to log back in on my shaman due to the character already existing, and it persisted. I did the whole CacheOld ect thing and it just restarts my ui which sucks since I had everything set up the way I like it. Is there an addon causing this and game lag?
Install BugGrabber & BugStack; the addons throwing frequent errors are likely the ones causing the game to lag.
The quickest fix for that is generally to log on to an alt, but it can sometimes take a bit for the server to boot the messed up char.
Alternatively, if you were running into the issue where you were logging into the character and immediately getting disconnected, it’s because of where your character was located and the “easiest” fix for that is to spam a burst movement key as you’re logging in.
Both cases have nothing to do with addons.
If you still have the renamed Interface and WTF folders, you can rename them back and restore all your addon settings. The cache folder doesn’t matter at all.
