Correct way to pronounce Shaman?

Is it “Sha-man” like the “Sha” from Pandaria
Or “Sha-man” like the “Shen” from like Lei-Shen

Asking because I heard both. I’d say is the first sentence, but I remember during Legion order hall quest, Thrall voice actor (Metzen) spoke like the second.

I think it’s “shah min”

Yeah, I remember the different pronunciations from Legion. I think either way is fine, people will generally know what you’re talking about when you say either.

Personally? I say ‘shah-min’.

Both are acceptable. You can use either the “Shaw” version or the completely wrong “Shay” version.

There is a female Dwarf NPC that you interact with during a quest series in Deepholme. She is on that flying ship and is threatening an Ogre. She says that she is a Shaman and pronounces it “Shaw-man”.

Shay-man

I’ve heard Shawmen before as well but that’s just Dwarfs with a crappy Scottish accent.

I just say shammy
