I’m making this thread on the hopes of folks letting us know whats going on in your home state. The news media is crazy right now. But here in the forums are folks from all over who can share first hand what is happening their neck of the woods.
I’m in southeast Texas. All I have seen or heard here is school closer and some events that are all local. Of course we have folks buying up all the TP among other things. But as of today we have NO confirmed cases of the virus.
Whats going on where you live?
By the way…DO NOT GIVE ME A THUMBS UP. I’m just trying to get folks to let us now whats going on besides the media.

27 confirmed cases here in Indiana, One 15 minutes from my house, First death of the state of Indiana just happened minutes ago.
i would like to add, the entire NW part of Indiana revolves around steel mills, even my job does, When the stock market takes a huge hit, so does everything else, Including buying new cars and appliances, etc. I guarentee it will be a snowball effect for a year, or maybe ever 2. Its going to get worse before better.

Ontario, Canada here. Over 150 cases now. We are bracing for impact.
Not as bad as some countries, but I have no doubt we will need to weather thousands of cases before it’s truly over.

I live in Wisconsin, we have 3 cases I believe, all in counties about 3 hours away from me (I’m in Grant County). With that being said, my family and I have taken preventive measures such as travel when ONLY necessary. We’ve stocked up on food and other necessities, especially considering the virus might last until JULY as Trump just said.
It’s scary, It’s eerie outside.
Edit: Not even a full 2 days later, we have went from 3 confirmed cases to over 70.
LOCK IT ALL DOWN, SHUT IT DOWN.

Here in California there have been 335 confirmed cases with about 12k suspected cases. I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that the Governor will close all state agencies soon. Paid time off here we come.

I’d be shocked if your governor even acknowledged this as a crisis.

It’s pretty calm here in Iowa; schools are closed for the most part. Certain businesses are closed others open, people are panic buying tp and what not but are calm and orderly. Military reservist such as myself are having our drills postponed.

He’s really slick and slimy. I wouldn’t trust a thing the guy says, but if he’ll close all state agencies for a few weeks, I’d vote for him.

SF bay cali here. SF, Oakland, and surrounding counties just put “in-place shelter” into effect, prohibiting gatherings of any number of people and non-essential outings, shutting down non-essential business, and restricting restaurants to takeout/delivery only. Grocery stores are remaining open to keep people fed and to prevent panic hoarding.
