What is a Corgen? A corgen is a Gnome afflicted with the Worgen Curse.

Worgen are Worg people.

Gnomes are to Humans as Corgis are to Worgs.

As such, a Gnome afflicted by the Worgen curse would turn into a Corgi person.

This is a nice start for the Lore explanation, but I think weā€™ll need more if weā€™re going to convince Blizz to do it. I donā€™t remember, but I donā€™t think that Worgen themselves get cursed through bites, do they?

Maybe there are some Worgen who are trying to help Gnomes solve the Leper Gnome issue. Or maybe theyā€™re trying to help clean up Gnomeragen. Maybe somehow their curse gets spread by the radiationā€¦

They actually do! There are 3 ways to become Worgen:

1 - Be a Druid, use Pack Form and wield the Scythe of Elune;
2 - Get bitten by a previously cursed Worgen;
3 - Drink Worgen blood.

Can the travel form be an actual Corgi model? I want to see those stubby little legs going 100mph!

Ah, this makes me wonder about classes for Corgen. Would they be like Worgen or Gnomes? Or a combination?

And I still think linking the emergence of Corgen to Gnomeragen somehow would be a good Lore move. Players have long wanted Gnomer to be more than a starting zone and dungeon. Maybe Corgen have a unique resistance to the contamination and are thus able to reclaim a significant part of the city and make it livable for any race.
