My physical authenticator stopped working and I cannot add it back due to no code to put in. Is there a way to fix it or add it with out the code. I want my pet back.
Is there a way to replace the internal battery?
They’re not designed for that. More to the point, they’re designed to resist being opened up for any reason, including replacing a battery. And once the battery is dead or has been removed, the authenticator device no longer works, even if you restore power to it.
OP needs to open a ticket to remove their dead authenticator from the account.
Use the link indicated in the paragraph that reads “If you can’t log in to your account…”
Blizzard has switched the authentication method. You now need to use the Battle.net authenticator with your phone. Sounds as though otherwise you’re out of luck.
Migrate Your Authenticator to the Battle.net Mobile App (blizzard.com)
You need to get the phone app now in order to get the Core Hound pup back… download the App. When you get the Authenticator then the Core Hound Pup you MUST keep the Authenticator if you REMOVE it your Core Hound Pup will be gone as well.
