Why did they remove everything useful about this pet this feels like Crusty dev design. The same guy they should have fired over the radiant echo disaster is back working in the pets section now.(Hyperbowl/symbolism) PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BLIZZARD FIRE OR RETRAIN THESE FOLKS its 2024 retail if we wanted obtuse draconic design classic hardcore is available give one valid reason you turned off vendor and repair on a pet that is freaking great and it does not hurt anyone it just means I don’t have to go back outside the damn dungeon every time 300 more pieces of literal junk loot drops . please just fix this or just delete the pet from the game cause its useless now .

People might not get why this is annoying but blizzard has been doing stuff like this for years. Imagine your at a restaurant mid way through a good steak and the chef comes out looks at your table and says that steak looks like it could use some ketchup and just starts spraying your plate with ketchup. Literally blizz , sure the wait staff is nice enough but one day your just gonna stop coming back if they keep messing with your food.

Yet, mount vendors are fine.

This is the part that bugs me. If they’re going to take away the vendor/repair functions, why the heck can’t they let it battle at least? It’s got 0 function in the game now…

Let me explain the difference to you. A mount cannot be summoned in most parts of dungeons and raids or most indoor areas in the open world. A pet can . Huge advantage of a pet over a mount.
Repair items like the anvil that can be used in non mount areas don’t allow you to sell items .
So yes the pet was a massive advantage to have.
Losing the vendor is whatever to me, but removing the pet battle abilities makes me sad.

Keyword being “most”, outdoor dungeons exist, and repairbots from engineering exist.
It would not have been game-breaking to repair mid-dungeon.

Would love to see a blue respond to why they nerfed this after so many YouTubers hyped it and so many players were excited for it.
Oh noes, it might make the game slightly easier?! The horror!
Personally, I wanted Coppers mainly for running old content to be able to offload all the junk… I mean, treasure, without having to leave interior instances where you can’t use the mount vendors.

Well I was looking to see what I could get with this new ruby I got while turning in wax, and saw a YouTube video about this little guy and thought wow that would be useful so I got him, and he doesn’t work, so then I found this post and was like oh that’s why. So now I have this stupid little kobald that doesn’t do a damn thing. I feel cheated want my ruby back.
