Coordinated Assault Charge

For the love of god…please fix the charge for bosses that are standing on the edge of platforms, notably Mechagon final boss and Gallywix. Mostly CA, but this also applies to Harpoon and DH’s Hunt.

I am so tired of:

  1. having to try charging at an angle (and then fail anyways)
  2. standing in melee range before I cast the ability so I don’t charge, negating one of the features of the ability
  3. standing in melee range and charge anyway because I misjudged the distance
  4. wildly inconsistent results of the charge depending on how far you are from the target, which way the boss is facing, which tank has aggro, etc

I had no issues on Gally for 2 hours yesterday (besides the usual getting put on the very edge of the platform and being careful not to walk forward) and then suddenly 2 pulls in a row I yeeted myself off the edge. Survival discord doesn’t have a fix for this, and the top logs use CA within 2-3 seconds of pull so clearly this isn’t always a problem.

Agree 100%. Kind of a dick move that some bosses are right up against the edge of a fall that would kill you. We use coordinated assault in rotation and gap closing, we shouldn’t have to wonder if we’re going to die because we use our abilities normally.

Fix up flanking strike too while we’re on the discussion. Melee range, use flanking, jumped into mechanic behind boss from my safe spot, dead.
